Sloppy Sandwiches

These were really good probably in my top ten favorite meals. Though you probably want to be familiar with dough before hand because I found that part very difficult, though it wasn't nearly as messy as the Spagetti Calzones. The ingredients you need are 8 ounces of groung beef(I used ground turkey because it is healthier)1 packet(1.31 oz) sloppy joes seasoning mix(I like McCormick)1 6 oz can of tomato paste, 1 large egg, 1 tbsp of water, all-purpose flour, 1 16.3 oz can of Pillsbury refrigerated biscuits(I like the extra flaky ones) and 1/2 a cup of shredded mozzarella cheese. The first thing you do is preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. and cover a baking sheet in tin foil. The second thing you do is mix together the meat and seasoning in a medium saucepan over medium high temperature. Cook and stir for about 10 min. or until meat is browned, then stir in the tomato paste until well combined, remove the saucepan from the heat. The third thing you do is in a small bowl combine the egg and water witha fork. The fourth thing you do is lightly sprinkle flour on a flat surface and roll out the biscuits into 4 inch circles. Put flour on both sides of the biscuit so that they don't stick. The fifth thing you do is spoon 2 tbsp of the meat mixture and 1 tbsp of the cheese onto one side of the biscuit. Using a pastry brush, brush some of the egg mixture onto the edges and fold it over to make a half cirlce. Press the edges together to seal them. Place the sandwiches on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Lightly brush the top of each sandwich with the egg mixture. The sixth thing you do is place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 13 to 15 min. Using the oven mitts remove from the oven and let it cool for 3 min. And Serve.
